Hi there,
First post! We got a new 3300 system, I am cert on the SX2000 system for many years. Since then, we are just about all changed over to our new MITEL Voip system. We are having some voice quality issues, sometimes (during peak times) voices sound like robots and get delayed - broken up speech to the caller. This is even occurring on some phones with Gig stands. Model 5240 phones. I am going over the Procurve switch programming now, and it shows "qos type diff services" for the voice vlan, but doesn't give a value or show a priority. Could that be the culprit, anyone have any input on this? Thank you. Web.

Look at the engineering guidline pdf. There are some examples of programming the procurve for diff serv. Specifically on setting priority for value 46.

Are your phones and data on the same VLAN? What Priority did you give the phones?

Thanks John, any idea where that is located. I don't have any docs with that information from the 3300. Could you provide a link if possible?
Thanks
