Hi, I'm new to Mitel, have mainly worked with Nortel and Intertel.
I'm looking after a facility with an SX200 hospitality system, and I would like to know what is required for onsite admin. Hyperterminal and a DB9 straight through cable is what I've gathered from searching the previous posts; is this correct?
At the moment, I need to create a new digital keyset extension, and would like to know if I can set up forwarding from an existing extension to this new extension on a schedule, so it automatically call forwards at a specific time of day.
Thanks, Bill

To answer your first question, yes. Although I prefer a better program than Hyperterminal like ProComm. Has to be VT100 emulation. As to your second question, no. Someone would have to manually turn on/off the forwarding at the set or you might be able to use the Day/N1/N2 settings.

You can program through the console though it is not recommended. You cannot perform back-ups or use alpha characters through the console. You can only be logged in at one location at a time.
You can also forward from the console, but it must be done manually, as above.
