Hello,

Our company just moved buildings, and two users decided they wanted new extensions. They are setup with new extensions, but now cannot answer calls without pressing the line 1 button first. All other users can just pick up the handset to answer. I've checked the flags, and they are the same as all other phones. Any ideas?

Mitel 5000 system
Mitel 8568 handset

Thanks!

A couple of possibilities:

Try feature code 360 - auto CO access.

Also, check to make sure the phone is actually ringing. The new extensions may need to be added to the extension list for ringing calls – either a hunt group or Multiple Ring In.
