I cannot get the pager button to work on our 5550, it just says "Request Denied" Any ideas? I've checked COS and all

What system?
Do you have a paging system set up for overhead or groups?
Are you lifting the handset first?

3300 ICP - the set is the 5550 IP Console

paging set for page groups,

check the COR for the trunk?

It works from my 5220 fine, and we have the same COS

How many Paging Zones do you have?
Is this overhead paging or through the sets?

You've got to be missing something in basic programming. You aren't just swapping the 5550 with the 5220 on the same port are you? Set up a separate COS for the 5550, and go through it option by option.

Trying to do PA Paging instead of group, IMHO. Might need to assign a cde speed dial to get what he wants.

On the 5550 with the 3300, pressing the page button pages the default zone for PA paging. If you are trying to page a specific zone or through the phones you will need to press the page button and then the appropriate zone/group.

Great, but what did you overlook/find? The next guy will want to know.
