If you have the pms emulator, you could likely verify settings. Or use a terminal to connect to the unit and send the ENQ and ACK.

Never trust pms people smile

I will do that. Weird thing is, I can see the ENQ and ACK in real time without the power connected.

Is it possible that your switch is a PoE switch, and that you are powering the iPocket over IP?

No POE, but I discovered today that the router's ip address is 192.168.1.1- same as the DG for the Mitel. This could cause some conflicts, no?

It shouldn't cause any conflict unless you have setup vlans on a layer 3 switch. If the ip phones and sytem are on their computer network all should be good. I don't know the ip address of the ipocket or if there is a conflict anywhere.

You should not have the router IP and any other address on the system as the same. It will cause a lot of different problems throughout the network and is probably why your PMS is not functioning.

The IT guy at the property tells me that he can't change the ip address of the router. Any ideas?

If their network is flat and the router is the default gateway for the computers and phone system, this presents no problem.

Maybe you could explain the stup better. Are they doing dhcp or all static? Is the ipocket's ip conflicting?
