I want to Get SMDR to come from the phone system to my DB9 serial port on my computer through a voice Jack. From my understanding I just need a pair Pin 2 and 7 from the phone system and on the laptop I would just need 3 and 5.
I can get continuity on the pins from my laptop to the the phone system but know data is coming through.
I'm trying to hook a Tel up to the phone system using Cat 3 cable.

use pins 3 & 7 db25 from pbx to 3 & 5 on a db 9
