Hello All,
I am having an issue with a SX200 ICP CXi controller. We are trying to bring this thing on the network, I have made the necessary changes in form 47 for the network info and when I try to bring the phones up, I get an error that says the tftp server is unavailable. The phone is pulling an ip address from the new subnet that we have created, but it shows the icp ip address to be the old controller address, 192.168.1.2. I have double, triple and quadruple checked in form 47, under dhcp, common options, that the tftp sever and the icp ip address are pointed to the new controller address. We have programmed many of these controllers in the same way and have never ran into this problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Try setting a phone up static....does the phone receive the bootfile from the TFTP then?

Make sure your scope options are changed with the new IP settings as well.

Did you reboot the ICP after making the changes in form 47? Have you checked the phone settings to see if it was set up with static info or have you defaulted the phone?

ok, so if I configure the phone statically, then the phone will come up, but if i reset the phone back to factory defaults, I am back to the same problem. Any suggestions.
Thanks

Got it figured out. I was forgetting to go to option 125 and hit edit value under common options and change the ip addresses in there. Thanks for all the help guys. Dang mitel just has too many subforms for my liking.
