Okay I admit to having a serious brain fade on this one.... I have a customer that was talked into to changing providers and have signed the contract. Unfortunately, the provider's salesperson thought all T1s are created equal and is selling them a PRI instead of the D4 AMI T1 on the DS1 card. Here's my question... Besides changing option 86 to 1, what other options are needed? Also if someone can PM or email me the part number to order option 86 I would appreciate it or do I need to call Mitel for pricing and MOSS upgrading since this is an ML/EL?

Mitel is, as you deduced, your only answer. If you are not a dealer, previously you would have been referred to Genesis, but they are out of business. Try Harry @ Resale systems, a frequent poster here, or a Mitel dealer.

Unless you need on or more of the PRI options all you need is Option 96 Digital Link. The other things would be like number of devices and the slot in the main cabinet and hopefully its an ELx Stratum 3 MCC.

more info The PRI card requires • Slot 10 or slot 11 in an SX-200 ELx cabinet Rev 4.4 or greater (PN 9109-600-002-NA). The main control card must have a Stratum 3 clock module.. • LIGHTWARE 17 Releases 4.0 or greater • ISDN Maintenance and Adminstration Tool (IMAT) installed on a PC with Windows 95 (dial-up networking included). IMAT provides the communication link between the card and the computer. • Purchasable MOSS option - Number of Links, where the number of links equals the number of links that will be activated on the PRI card(s) being installed.

Thanks for the answers and sorry for my typo, I meant Option 96 Digital Link.
I have the PRI card already, the cabinet is ELx 4.4 and I have IMAT. Just need to make sure of the MCC.

depending where you install the Pri card whether in the control cabinet or a peripheral cabinet make sure you have set the dip switches on the Pri card accordingly.
