I am in the process of trying to program an SX200 ICP with an AX controller to replace an existing SX200 EL that was struck by lightning, or at least a very close-by strike. My question is: Can the backed-up database, via Kermit backup, be migrated to the AX controller?

No, because none of the hardware/line cards are compatible. Too bad the company who supplied the AX system didn't offer to pre-program the AX to match your existing amphenol cables, that a standard offering from here!

Also, the database is a different size. Trying to upload it to the ICP will make the ICP behave goofy (don't ask how I know...)
