I sure hope this is an easy one! Can the MITEL 5000 be set up allow specific trunks to be used for incoming access, while allowing others to be used for incoming/outgoing? I have an application (basic, but very effective) that does call recording. We need to allow users to call out on a non-recorded line. My plan was to diasable recording on 3 trunks in that app, and have users dial the trunk directly for non-recorded outgoing access, like 90049,or 50 or 51, then make their call. This way I know all incoming calls are recorded, and the only calls that are NOT recorded are made on those trunks. But I have to somehow "remove" those 3 trunks from handling incoming calls. I have just enough knowledge to screw it up royally, so any help is appreciated.

You can split them into different trunk groups, and designate one for outgoing access.
Inbound routing is programmed by the carrier.

Thank you, and now that I have created the new Trunk group and added the trunks, can you tell me where in the DB programming I tell the system NOT to use my new group for incoming calls, but to use it for Outgoing only?

You can't.
Inbound routing is programmed by the carrier. You would have to order changes from them.
