Hello,
I am trying to setup a (hunt group/call group/broadcast group, take your pick) to ring between 4 different 3300s running version 4.1 sp2 in a cluster.
If a call is transferred to a phone on Switch A, and doesn’t get answered, I would like it to ring a group of phones on switches B, C, and D, all at once. I thought I could setup a Multicall with number 1000 for example, on all the phones. I programmed a Multi-call button 1000 on a 5340 on Switch A; when I try to setup a Multicall on a phone on Switch B, I get an error message saying “The directory number cannot be configured as a key appearance because it has already been programmed in a remote node”.
The only way I can see to make this work is to have all the extension numbers from one node, spread out to physically sit at the remote nodes, but they are in different cities, so this isn’t ideal for outgoing calls, personal calls and such.
Does anybody have any ideas?

I do not believe you can have milticall features accross a cluster, they have to be on the same controller. The only option would be to over floe from one controller to another.
