HI EVERYBODY, I HAVE SX 200 digital, for local call when we dial 9 then there is no dial tone , but when we try 2nd time local call go through. but its couple of time we have to try then local call go through. But still i dont hear dial tone after pressing 9(EVEN ON 2ND OR 3RD TRY CALL GO THROUGH)..
OTHER THEN EVERYTHING FINE. No Alarm sign or anything. Please tell me what you think.

One of your outgoing trunks is dead. More than likely, this is due to a failure on the telco's end. You need to test each trunk for dial tone, identify the one that is dead and report this to the service provider for repair.

It could also be that one of your trunks has a different CDN or COS, which does not return "second dial tone."

Have you changed dial tone providers, or reduced the number of phone lines. These are the commonest causes of "no dial tone after dialing 9".

Have you tried accessing the trunks individually from the console using Attendant access?

Check form 26 for return dial tone for all access codes.
