Couple of questions for an Mitel EL 19 3.2 SW: Can you put a PRI module on a BCC 3 in the main control cabinet? If yes, what is it's IP address (is it 192.168.1.1)? How do you connect to it with IMAT? Having some trouble with this and the THB is very vague about how to do this. All comments welcomed and TIA!

As far as I know the EL will only accept the PRI card in either the Main or PER cabinets. The THB for LW19 doesn't even mention a PRI module.

It would only be a T1 module if put on the BCCIII. For PRI, you need the card.

As mentioned, while both cards use the dual T1 module for connections to your carrier, the BCC3 is used only for T1/DS1's, and the PRI card is required when installing PRI's. As far as the IP address of the cards, they can be changed, if needed, to meet your networking requirements.

Thank you guys. It has been some time since we have tried to put a PRI in an EL. Guess I gotta get a PRI card.

FYI everyone...
Just installed a PRI card in an EL and was able to make calls in and out but when an external call was placed on hold there was a horrendous squeal heard by the external caller. It sounded close to the fax squeal. It also blocked the MOH from going to the external caller even though it worked internally. Tried replacing the MCC & the DMP before the PRI card. It ended up being the PRI card.
I never tested on hold before with a PRI (shame on me) because normally I was interested that inbound and outbound calls routed properly but I will from now on.
