Hello,
I have someone asking me to install an old 1236 tie key system , problem is the phones are yellowed, and I was wondering if I could use tie HX Meritor phone p/n 86078 on this system ?

its been awhile. You can use the Tie TC1236 phones. Does the Meritor fones have a walnut faceplate and have 12 line buttons? Try and plug 1 in, Try suggesting the customer to UPGRADE.....The new Nitsuko (NEC) Ds1000/2000 is a neat little system and low cost.

Rick,
Do what most refurb companies do. Sand phone alittle and spray paint ith model paint. I have done it on some yellowed phones from smokers.

If all else fails, use a BFH.
