Hey Guys _
I have a ONYX IV system and I have the AUX board that has the RS232 for connecting my laptop. However when I connect my laptop to the upper RS232 with the same type of serial cable I always use with every other system except I have a 9-pin to 25-pin adapter that allows me to connect to the ONYX I get nothing. I also went to station 300 and set the baud rate to 9600,8,1,N. Still nothing. The only manual I have is the terminal programming and from what I understand that is how the ONYX has to be programmed.
Actually all I want to to is make one phone ring, another not and a third for delayed ringing....Any Nitsuko experts out there.
Thanks in advance as always.

Do you have a null modem adaptor to use? When you say you have the cable you use on every other system, are the other systems Nitsuko?
You did the right thing by going to the op station to confirm the baud rate. Sometimes reseting the baud rate starts the serial port. I'll look in my manual to see if i am overlooking something.
Tip and ring, the work of the devil!

I don't know if it is I assummed it was. No, I did not ever hook up to a Nitsuko with the cables I was using? <font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by A6: Do you have a null modem adaptor to use?
