Recently installed 704i in multi tenant office, have 23 channel PRI with DID's. My problem is, I have multiple tenants ringing on reception and I need them when not answered and at night to ring to their appropriate voicemails and possibly to ring externaly. I have been through all of the DID programing.... eg ![[Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]](https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/frown.gif) 1805...1806). Cannot get it to work. Do not want to use call coverage keys. Was under the impression that I could split my translation tables so that it could ring differently at night. I know the 704i is a good product but, it is very frustrating to program. My manual states proceedures that do not work. eg ![[Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]](https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/frown.gif) outgoing call block for caller ID...does not work) If anybody can help me with any of these problems please reply...... signed........frustrated

Try setting up fixed call forwarding for each of the phones to ring no answer to the VM. This way if no one answers within the C.F timer, the call should go to the mailbox.

Since your tenants DID's all route to a central answering point it makes it more complicated. In the day you can use virtuals that are assigned to ring at the attendant and forward to VM when unanswered. Then create call routing mailboxes using the virtual ext number to route each tenent to a unique greeting. At nite you can use a different table in 1806 to route the did's directly to the virtuals and thier respective greetings.

Sorry I missed the point about not using coverage keys. But since you are using 1 pri your stuck with one trunk group and therefore one table in 1806 for each mode ie: day, nite etc. However you can still create a different table for nite and route the tenant did's to virtuals. You can split the addresses assigned to the tables in 1805. If three tables are enough start with address 0000, length = 400 for table 1. For table 2 start at address 0400, length = 400 and table 3 start at 0800 length 400. That uses 1200 of the available address. Then assign the nite table in 1808. Hope this helps.
