Please, any help you can offer is appreciated. We haven't found a helpful Tec yet. There was a power outage and it seems to have affected our Nitsuko Portrait 824. First the voicemail stopped working, we can't retrieve our messages and then the voicemail didn't pick up. Now when calls come in, we can see the line light up but there's no ringer, and most recently, we can't answer the call either! Very frustrating! I'm only the secretary but I have been put in charge of solving the problem, so please help me!

Do you mean resetting as in turning off and turning back on or the reset switch? We have tried turning it off and back on. Or something else?

I have seen them go into Night mode from power bumps, try this, Power down both the Tel system and Voice Mail and let them sit for 2 or 3 min and then power up the tel system then the Voice mail, if that doesn't help try this.
Press idle Call key Dial 818 Dial 0000 (hope the password hasn't been changed) Dial 0 Press Speaker
