I'm very new to this phone system, it's an NEC 124i system. I've been asked to find out how to turn the ringer on or off at various stations, and concluding many hours of trying to figure it out, I found this message board. I was wondering if anyone could answer this question. I would be very grateful.
Thankyou ^_^

Unfortunately, one of the few pitfalls with the i-series is that a user can not turn off a ringer. I believe it has to do with "the boss wants these 3 phones to ring, so they WILL ring."
phones ring via a ring group that is programmed through system programming. 0909 is the program you need.

There is no way for an end user to turn the ringer on or off without contacting whoever programmed the phones then? Hm.
Thankyou very much for replying. I'll have to see who I can contact.
