I a customer whos system went down and whan trying to reprogram a new one they say that they use to press there loop key and dial there number without pressing the centrex digit 8 anyone know how this is programed?

maybe try programming a speed dial as a trunk group access code then a pause then a 8 and put it on a button

It sounds like you need to set up ARS programming. The programming is under GA, QL, E3, E8, QW, QX. I suggest a manual to guide you through this or a tech familiar with this product.

I always have the customer sign a waiver stating we are not resposible for "hung" lines due to this. Anytime you use regular POTS you are going to see this at some point.
