What's the difference between how one is supposed to use BGM versus MOH? Are there two inputs so that the source audio can be independently activated or updated/changed? Or are there functional differences that I need to be aware of?

BackGround Music comes out the speaker on the phone. Music On Hold is heard by a caller when that caller is put on Hold. Is that what you are asking??

Thanks, JWR. Exactly what I needed to know. Guess I have not been around too many office phones that played background music! Small town.

Oh, and it is a working model, complete with a crank to ring up the operator. [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com])

dont forget the fantastic power supplies that would overheat and shutdown. We had to set up floor fans blowing on them to keep them cool.......

That thing was programed in bianary wasn't it. The nightmares are all coming back to me. And don't even get me started on the handsets. The speaker phones used different one's than the standard phones and I ALWAYS had the wrong one on me !
