Hello,
I Have no idea how this phone works but I have one and every time I try to make a phone call it brings up line 8, only lines 1,2 and 3 are real phone lines.
How do I fix this?
Thank you in advanced!!

Sounds like you have auto line select on your phone and I think you have to de-progem it in system programming to get rid of it. Do this, press call1 #9, 01-03 to direct select a line. Just a work around.

It is definitely a programming issue. Quick history, Do others usually dial 9 to get a line, push a line key (or a line group key), or do they just pick up the handset. Do other people get acces to different lines to make calls than other people. (i.e. sales department get lines 5-6, wharehouse gets lines 4 and 7, ect.). Finally does line 8 work? (I assume it doesn't.)
Asfar as the busy signal, you may not be allowed access to those lines. Or they may be busy which depending upon the routing may send you to a 2nd route which includes line 8) As you can see there are a few variables and the i-series isn't the easiest system to learn to program (or be walked through for that matter.) Best advice is call the System tech that works on your system.
