Can the Onyx VS ext. 300 be programmed for Hands Free operation? The administration manual says this feature is not available for the Attendant. Is there a way around this maybe by changing class of service for extension 300? It would be nice if the Attendant could use the speakerphone capabilities.

You can change the COS from 30 to another COS. This will allow for handsfree to be used.

Thanks mundo22, this does work but when I changed the class of service from 30 to 01 like the other speakerphones on the system I no longer have access to a night mode button.

One of the drawbacks of changing the COS. Not sure why Nitsuko made it this way.
