Does anyone have a copy of the host key software. I have a new customer that has a 28i with a Vangard Mail Digital voicemail.
I connected to it with HyperTerminal, but all I get is the MainMenu> promt. Can I manage the voicemail from this prompt, or do I need host key?
The manual is not clear on this.

At main menu, type "H" (no quote marks) for a list of options.

Hostkey is to diagnose the voicemail by viewing the startup sequence. You can also do some mild DOS commands in there too. Nothing fancy. Mainly just for diagnosing. At least that is what I have used it for.

the best software to use is IDEA. It allows you to back up the vmail as well as edit it.
