How does one turn on the room monitoring feature for the 92i or 124i systems? My director wishes to turn these on (legally of course, with all motions made to make sure its above board).
I have already turned on call monitoring in 0406 and set up a one touch key for this.
What are the 0406 codes that need to be changed to enable a class of service to monitor a room via another extension? Including codes to turn off alert tones etc.
And what is the 1xxx program code to actually do it?

0406 item 54 & 55 program a 1025 key on the set
on the monitored extension hit the key and dial its own extension---display should say monitored and the key will flash
on the extension doing the monitoring hit the key and dial the extension to be monitored-- display reads monitor computer room.
I have one of these systems in my house and I use it for a baby monitor, it works great. It is not nearly as sensitive, but you can monitor from any or all of the phones at the same time.

Ah ok I was undre the impression you could remotely monitor a phone at random without having to go the phone you were monitoring.
