What are the required hardware pieces for enabling caller ID on a Portrait 824?
The system is configured with 4 CO's, only 2 have Caller ID.
An online vendor sent me part # 82525, which is what Nitsuko said I need, but it's only a circuit board. According to the hardware manual for the system, it looks like the Caller ID in an entirely seperate, self contained piece of hardware.
I normally work with Panasonic systems, so I'm a bit out of my comfort zone.
Confused and need help, David

The 824 requires 2 parts for caller id. I believe they are 82421 (SMDR/CID Board) which mounts inside the ksu and the 82425 which mounts outside and connects to ksu via a special cable. You also need some ddk connectors to connect the co's from the demark to 82425 and then to the co connectors in the cabinet. The board you have is for the 308 version and is not combatible as far as I know. We did not sell many of these and it's been years since I've worked on one.
