I have an issue that I need resolved pretty quickly. We have reception up front with 3 DSS consoles. Problem occured last week where one of them inadvertantly hit a different time mode and we did not figure it out until over 2 hrs. passed. We contacted our vendor plus carrier. It wasn't until later in the day when our vendor called for us to check that since nothing else seemed to be an issue. I need to remove the functionality of those keys. I spoke with our vendor and thought that we could reprogramm the keys to all be day mode except one for night. I know that keys are hard coded as time mode keys, but now I am being told that they cannot be changed to different time modes and that we need to change all the time sensitive programming to point to day mode only. Is there an easier way to go about this? Something that I as a novice might be able to do. The vendor is slammed right now, and I would like to take care of this myself if possible.
If anyone has any suggestions I would very much appreciate them.

Thanks,
-Glenn

Are the time keys on the DSS consoles? If it is those are hard coded. What he is saying that he would have to change the other 3 times to be the same as day mode leaving night as-is. There are tables in the software to do this and require someone familiar with programming to change it. If you have a PRI or T1 or DID the job just alot trickier.

Thank Coral.
My understanding is that there are 8 time modes. It is the the time keys on the console and we do have several PRI's and loads of DID's. My understanding is that the tables in 1806 are fine since we only have tables that point to day and night mode. I'm in no way trying to take a job from him...we have a great relationship....just trying to work with him and seeing if I can take some of the workload off him and his team.
I am trying to learn what I can...but also know when it is something they need to do. This looks like it is going to be up to them.

Thanks again for the reply,
-Glenn
