Can an offsite DISA user on a 124i make a "meet me" page?
On this system, a normal extension can page, and then any phone in the system can dial 864 (svc code 0511:46) to talk to the person making a page.
DISA users can also pages, but does the system allow it to be answered with the "Meet Me" code? It seems from the docs that DISA users are very much 2nd class citizens of an iSeries system, so before I order the parts to do it, I want to make sure it will work.
On that note, anyone have a used 4DTDU they'd like to sell me? (DTMF receiver for iSeries systems, required for DISA, PN 92035).
What I'm trying to accomplish is that an offsite user can call into the system and page, then talk to someone on-site. (as in "Hey George, it's Eric, I need to talk to you, dial 863"). Is there another way to accomplish this? I've tried various voicemail tricks to transfer to the paging service code, or to a "virtual extension" that has every phone in it, but none of these seem to work.
