customer has 124i with 2 cab's, 6.08 s/w.
About 40-50 phones, 24 pots lines.
They park alot. it seems that when they retreive a call from park, intermittently, it drops the call.
I had them keep a log. it's only happend on lines 1-7. (the first 2 cards)
I had them reset the system. The next thing would be to roll the cards to see if the symtopms follow the cards.
Any ideas about this one?
Punch down all your damn pairs!..........(please).

Sounds like the right direction. I would also see if it's one of your telco lines having an occasional short or problem.

One of the first things to figure out is exactly when the call is dropped. Does it get dropped: -When they put it in park, -While it's sitting on park, -When they press the key to retrive the call from part?
How often does it happen? Can you clip a buttset and meter on the line to track when it happens, or is it too random?
The line 1-7 thing may be a red hering. In a typical inbound hunt-group situation, the earlier lines will see the most traffic, and therefor the most problems. It's still worth trying different lines on different ports, just be carefull.
