Anyone had any luck connecting a 3DCI to a 28i with software version 6.01.01.
I programmed it:
1- Prog 0005 = type 4.
2- Prog 0404 = Port 6 for Ext 306.
3- Prog 0417 = xx.
4- Prog 1206.
5- Using stright thu Rs232 to Db9.
6- I get ( ok ) with hyperterminal. But no smdr.
Any cooments will be highly appreciated. :rolleyes:

In 0005, what order number did you give it? I believe order number 1 will assign it to DCI ports 37,38,39. Some of your program number are different then what I see under 6.0.xx, so it may be different.

Can you make a "data call" between two of the ports on the 3-DCI?

Of course, if you're the guy who out-bid me on ebay for that 3-DCI then I retract my post :-)

Using a 3DCI on an optima 28i/124i/384i & 704i uses DCI ports 145,146 & 147 in programming..
