I have a Nitsuko DS01 & external Talks/ABS viocemail from my old office, which worked perfectly before we got a newer system, Just installed DS01 in my home - (DSS not) used.
System working well in house - having difficulty getting talks / abs voicemail to recognize - any icm transfer to it - just rings.
told i have no ring generator - then how did it work before???

do you have the VM hooked into the ASI ports ?
what happens when you dial the VM ext numbers ?
you might consider calling the company that sold and serviced it originally to come set it up for you
