I have searched all places high and low and cannot figure this one out.
The operators console for whatever reasons suddenly just (loudly) starts emitting reorder tone from the set. Lift the handset place it back down it goes away. Sometimes it does it once a day, sometimes twice a day, maybe not that day you just don't know. While it is doing this the hands free button lights up.
Very annoying.

look at ext 301
odd /even extension shared some components and a problem with one would show up on the paired one
sometimes just plugging in one phone would cause this on the paired partner
I would also swap the phone and see if the problem stays with the port or follows the phone

sometimes you would plug a phone in and hear the reorder tone or dial tone coming from another phone a lot of the tie /nitusko stuff shared components in the KSU so the stations where paired a problem with one could cause a problem in the paired extension
so if the problem stays with the port I would try unplugging whatever is on the next port (Im assuming attendant as 300 so just disconnect 301 )
or you could try moving the cable to another port to elminate station wiring

Skip: When say you can hear the reorder tone. Just want to make sure we are on same page. The set is sitting idle. Then all of a sudden through the speaker part of the speakerphone we hear reorder tone. Handsfree lights as well. Lift the handset and replace it and the reorder goes away.
I have unplugged the station next to it (301) and checked all the Xcons. I know with my bad eyes, I have missed more than my fair share by half a pair once in a while. I will see if this straightens out the problem and maybe it is bad station cables. They are fairly new, but I did not pull them.

I have turned off alarm set in programming. Before I did I checked the alarms and did not see any.

if you have extra ports you could try moving 300 to a unused port .
