I'm a radio tech asked to work on our tel sys & wew have no book. And fm wandering around in here a while I found that I might need a password that I don't think anyone here knows. But......
My question is I trying to disconnect some no longer needed extensions and my boss doesn't care for the lit lamps from the removed stations. can anyone help in how I get the lights out on disconnected phones?
By the way; I stumbled onto this forum fm a google search. It is my first time using such a tool. WOW! very powerful. guess I should find one on radio where i can volunteer on something I can help someone else with. javascript:void(0)

If I remember right all you have to do is power down the system with the mentioned sets unplugged from the system and power it back up, if that doesn't do it you will have to blank the hot keys for those empty station, try the power thing first and let us know.
It's been a long long time sense I worked on a VS

Russ, thanks for your reply. I powered down the system on your suggestion and no change. So I tried it once more leaving it off for about 30 seconds. Unfortunately, no change, lights still lit. 19dabird41

you will need to re-assign the buttons
go to program 17 and assign them another function or make them undefined

Ok then as Skip said you will have to assign the hot keys to undefined or another feature.
