Vangard on a 124i Nitsuko. When listening to subscriber mailbox greeting want to be able to dial * to get to leave a message immediately rather than listen to the whole greeting. Defined * as REC1 and REC2 in DAT 1 to no avail. Any ideas? (frustrated Nortel tech)

TRy setting the Next Call Routing Mailbox option to "2" which I believe will follow CRMB811/ DAT1 by default. When that is done, set "*" in DAT 1 to REC2 and give it a try. I'll keep my fingers crossed

Any other ideas? Other vendor had it working on the other unit before it crashed.
