I have a Meridian M7208. The horizontal top window were time and date appears as well as the number being dialed only gives garbage number.
Is there a battery which has run out or any other ideas.

No batteries.Unplug set for a few minutes and plug it back in to see if it will reset display.If this doesn't work,you will need to plug this set into another jack that currently has a 7208 working on it.Make sure auto relocate is off.If this fails,replace the set.
