I have a norstar mics with a full t-1 for local and ld.I also have a point to point t-1 for networking to another office using mck branch exstenders.I would like to do away with the branch extenders,and put another norstar in other office.but I not sure how to go about it and what equiment i would need on both systems? Any help would be appreciated.

For starters, you will need another MICS system at the other location. You will need t-1 cards in each switch, along with clocking cards. Right now i assume the branch extenders are coming of digtal ports and connecting to a CSU and t-1. You will need to check the software of each switch to make sure it is the right version. I think 4.0 and higher can network, but someone will need to verify that for me. Anyone??? Depending on the current config of the t-1 circuit, you may need to modify it. Thats what you need for starters. It can get pretty hairy, so some local help is also advised.
