I got my hands on an old 824 (release 1 i think), I want to upgrade it to a r6.0 for resale.

If you have a 824. It could be DR1, DR2, DR3, DR4, or DR5 software. DR5 is the lattest. 6.0 is a MICS and CICS software level. Check out this compatability matrix.

You may want to consider the 5.0 ver software because of the NAM software upgrade needed (4.1). Person buying MICS may not have the resources to upgrade Nam or may not want the added cost.
