i have this norstar, it's a 6x16 DR2 and it has Automatic Set Relocation enabled. There is no option in the programming menu to disable ASR, however. I have never seen one like this.
Whenever I move a phone, the extension follows me. It makes it a little troublesome to test.
Does anyone know if the is something I can do to disable ASR. I have been through the menu several times, i have not seen an option to disable it. perhaps there is another admin code I never heard of.
your advice is appreciated.

On the 6x16 DR2 It is listed as Automatic Phone Relocation and I don't think you can change it.
One of the moderators for this category will know for sure.

upgrading the software would make this a lot easier, perhaps to dr5 for the 6x16.

You can find a good price on e-bay for dr5 for 6x16. Just get the right one depending if you have ds (disconnect supervision) or not ds.
