we have an 0x32 with flash. 8 lines appear and ring at a non-staffed attendant set. Same 8 lines appear only on 5 other phones. Calls ring 4 times to allow office staff to pickup the call otherwise they hit ccr tree with several press choices. If the caller does nothing, calls ring back to attendant set and office staff can pickup the call. Greeting 1 plays at 730, and 12, greeting 2 plays at 400.
Office staff uses an operator key to manually open and close the business.

Here's the question: What's an easy way for the office staff to change the greeting and/or menu to allow transferred calls to ring downstairs while they're all at a meeting or at lunch?

We're not comfortable having these folks modifying the greeting table. (even if we type up explicit instructions!)
Also, is there any provisions for holidays?
I'm pretty new with Norstar. Thanks! Al

Have you tried to forward and/or redirect ring to an "attended" position. As I recall, the flash only offers 2 greeting tables. Maybe openwire can offer more help in this regard. All my flash docs are at the office.

We don't want to redirect all calls. We only want emergency calls (it's a doctor's office) to come through. They want all other callers to call back, they don't want them to leave a message.

Side question, if you set the non-business time to 11:59 pm, does it play the greeting for 1 minute then go back to the evening greeting? We initially wanted the evening greeting to start at 4:00pm and we thought we could use the operator key to MANUALLY change to non business greeting, but the non business kicked in at the scheduled time automically. The book isn't clear on how the schedule works.
