Hello.
I have a Norstar CICS 4x16 in my office with a flash 2 voicemail installed. What I am trying to do is this: When someone dials my ext. from the automated attendant(through flash, not the aa built into the CICS), and I am away from my desk, is there a way to have that call automatically forwarded to my cell phone? I know I can do all call forwarding through Norstar as well as the telephone company (72#), but I only want to forward the calls that come to my extension. Any suggestions?
Thank you.
Carl.

Externally Call Forward a Phone: Note: You must have at least 4.1 software in the CICS to execute this feature.
Make sure the phone has Allow Redirect set to Yes and that you've allowed it access to the line pool you're using.
Then simply walk up to the phone and press Call Forward Button or Feature 4 Dial the destination code + phone number.
All calls that ring on the phone will be forwarded! All calls, including IC calls. So if you want one particular line to be forwarded but not others, simply program ONLY that line to appear & ring on the set.
Note: If you want the CF to be on a No Answer condition, program the cell number including the destination code in the CFNA heading of Capabilities for the station you want to forward. That way you will get the forward after a specified # of rings...
Good Luck!!

Thank you for your prompt reply.
I tried the instructions that you gave, I have allow redirect set to yes for my extension (210). When I do feature 4, it says FORWARD TO: I tried typing in the 9 (which is my code for line pool A), and it says INVALID NUMBER. Any suggestions?

I figured out how to do it... I needed to set up a route to my cell phone, then create a new destination code to that route, and then forward to the routing code.
Thanks for all of your help.
Carl.
