After a power failure, caller ID only shows up after the phone is answered. It used to be there when the phone rang. Happened before but now can't remember what steps to take to restore. Hope someone can help. I think it may have to do with activating something in Call Logs

JJ Many thanks for the reply. The entry you describe has been done and it seems that is what shows the caller info after the phone is answered. I've lost the password for the PDF file of the manual so can't get in to read the instructions but I seem to remember from the last time that something had to be changed in the Call Logs section as well to make sure the info showed up during the ring phase.

DTF I got the file and password off another telephone discussion group site that I can't find anymore. Whitestar If you are willing to share, I can be reached through e-mail at hotmail.com.

I,m assuming you have a 3x8 DR5, if i'm right let me know and I can e-mail you the owners manual. You need to add your e-mail in your profile. [email protected]

DTMF
You're right, it's the DR5. If the file is the same size as the one I have, it's too big for my hotmail address. I am sending you an e-mail containing another address you can use although there is some question if it will accept it as well. Many thanks for your help.
