I've been told that the only Norstar system that will automatically display information during the ringing of any or all sets programmed to ring is a CICS. On all of the other systems, the information will only appear on one set during ringing and the rest of the ringing sets will appear after you pick up the handset. Can anyone confirm this or let me know what systems will automatically show information and which ones won't? DR5 to 6.0
Thanks in advance.

i think theres a feature code that pulls the caller id info to the set your using. you just program a solf key to dial the feature code and teach the user to press that key before they answer the call. Feature 811 i think....and you must have the CI four port card installed instead of the four port DS...and you have to subscribe to the caller id service....and ..oh nevermind...you know.

Ver 6.0 just came out with a feature that allows you to assign caller ID on a per set basis and not on a line owner basis. I dont know how well it works yet just read that info tonight
