How would I program extension 221 (operator) to have both a personel mailbox and also be the general mail box owner. Have MICS with Nam not using the auto attendant only mail boxes. Can you help Thanks Tony

Install a 7100 phone for the receptionist's extension, assign a separate DN number for that phone and mailbox. Tell her to check it frequently. That's the easy way. There is another way, but takes a lot more programming.

if it's documented i can figure it out

Another way is to move DN 221 to an out of the way location, like the computer/telecom closet. Then, give the receptionist her own DN number and program all applicable lines to ring on the new phone. Adjust attendant extension changes in the AA tables, and also the Direct Dial for set1 in Configuration. Update the control set dn as well.

The end result of this method is the receptionist has her own mailbox with message waiting indicator working for her personal mailbox, and she can activate night services from the new phone. Then she would have to frequently login to the GD mailbox to see if any messages were left, since she doesn't have the MWI for it.

Also DN 221, can be set on the same desk, but most people don't like two phones cluttering their space.

I've looked for easier ways, but this seems to be one of the biggest problems to get working as seamless as the customer wants.
