Installed new PRI T-1 on 6.1 software. Cannot make international calls. After user enters 7 to 8 digits, the local operator will come on line. All other calls go thru ok. International calls can be made from pots lines. ????

Contact vendor of T1, and make sure International calling is turned on fot T1. If they do not allow International calling, you either get operator or recording saying can not complete call as dialed.

There is a problem with the 6.1 s/w with PRI set as NI2 protocol, Nortel issued an MR(maintenance release) to correct that problem with 6.1 s/w it has the updated protocol table entries for the NI2 current international standards. So I will suggest check your s/w if it’s not the new updated s/w Check system version it should end up with G05 not E06,If it’s the old s/w you should replace it and it will correct the problem.
