I read the manual that in order to access a CAll Pilot via LAN, you must use Explorer version at least 4.0, but less than 6.0.

I cannot connect to any CP. All my PC's have Explorer version 6.(something).

I have read here on this board that the version doesn't matter above 4.0 .

I need to edit some COS for a few customers and I'm getting nowhere.

Can someone tell me specifically (crossover cable?, IP stteings, etc...)how to accomplish this????

Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THX

Punch down all your damn pairs!..........(please).

Yes, you need a crossover cable if you are connecting directly to the CP. You will also need to make the IP address of your PC similar to the IP address of the CP. For example, if the Call Pilot is 192.168.1.100 you should make your PC 192.168.1.101 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0
