You may be in luck. As long as they did not get hit with ring voltage they should be fine.

I think the Norstar phones use 24V, still low compared to ringing voltage!!

Our Electric was shut off again, and the Norstar phone system, Meridian has been reset to default. Same problems occured as did in the original topic, and I did fix them as you said to. Yet my problem with the phones not automatically transfering to Line 1 when I pick up the phone is not. When I program the phone to have Line 1 be the prime line in that set, 2 of the 3 phones will make the prime line 1, yet my phone which I am programmin on, still will not alow me to have line 1 automatically when I pick up the receiver.

Any idea's as to why all of the other phones will do this function and mine will not?

If so please let me know.

What you should have done is to make your prime line for all extns Line Pool A, & assigned all available lines to line pool a (which it normally does as default)this way no matter what handset you use it would pick up any available line from the pool of resource, if you need more info on how to do this let me know but you seem to know enough to get yourself through it.

Jrob,

As Scott said. You would go under Line settings to place the two lines into Pool A group. Go back to Terminal settings and under Line access allow the phones access to Pool A and then set Prime line to pool A. Sounds like you know the basics for programing the system.
Keep in mind that next time you loose power it will default again. A UPS should help keep your programing. Other option would be to purchase a replacement KSU (control unit)
