This week I am going to install an MICS 6.1 XC MR with a T-1.

I am going to pre-program the system at our shop so that the LNP will be more or less Plug and Play.

The issue I am concerned with is this:

The main number to be ported is XXX-0100.

So I am planning to change the park prefix to something other than "1".

I have requested that telco send 3 digits instead of 4 because I can't have "0' As a leading digit for a DID.

Is that all I need to do to accomodate the main number (XXX-0100)?

Thanks for any input.

Punch down all your damn pairs!..........(please).

Of course your DN's don't HAVE to match your received digits, but it's sure alot nicer when they do.

The only other issue I know of with have 100 DN's is if you are using a Call Pilot (which you must be). You have to log into it with a computer and change some general options that have to do with leading digits. The two settings I'm thinking of are defaulted to 11 and 19 which blocks you from creating any mailboxes that start with those numbers.

Good Luck.
