Anyone out there know an outgoing call can be silent monitored. If so what is the trick to that progamming?

Something about disabling privacy on the line, im not sure how this is accomplished though.

Even with the Auto Privacy Off, It should give an announce tone when someone else picks up that line. There is some "Service Observing" equipment from Melco, I think it is. I'm sure there are other makes as well.

Silent monitor will only work when the person you are trying to monitor is on a hunt group call and the phone you are trying to listen from is given the proper supervisor functions. I've never tried it, I lean towards locg's point of view, but I would assume this means that an outgoing call could not be monitored using that feature. If you need to monitor an outgoing call I believe the only pratical option would be to add a third party device ahead of the system to enable the monitoring. I believe there is a feature code for that in the 6.XX software. Scroll through the list of feature codes in the set user preferences. I thought I just saw something like that in there yesterday.
