I'm trying to create a submenu in CCR, the structure of it now is
Path 0 - Blah Blah Blah press 1 for an employee directory Path 1 - Press 1 for Whomever (Path 11) Press 2 for Someone Else (Path 12) Etc.
What I am trying to do is add a submenu along the lines of:
Press 7 for information regarding whatever and to leave a message.
Ideally, I'd like them to be able to press 7, get some info, then have the option of leaving a message.
I've tried just adding an info option and then getting them to * back to the previous menu and press 8 to get to the mailbox, but it only works sporadically and isn't as seamless as I'd like....Any ideas?

Why not just make path 7 a "leave message point" instead of an info, then instead of recording the usual "I'm away from desk message" record the info you want played then it will automatically wait for a message just like a normal mailbox. Also you may want to be careful using "Blah Blah Blah".....I've found that may cause issues with the unit re-booting itself and have had to change mine to "Yadda Yadda Yadda" to avoid that particualr problem ![[Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]](https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/smile.gif)

Actually I had thought of leaving it as a simple message point, but the information I need to say exceeds the amount of time available to speak!
And yeah, yadda yadda is actually better all around. Blah blah blah is really more of a 90's thing.

How long is your info message? You can change the class of service for that mailbox to "7" and that should give you 10 minutes worth of greeting time.

THE SUB MENUS ON THE CCR IS PATH THAT FOLLOWS THE FIRST MENU, EXAMPLE PRESS 1 FOR Sales, user press's one. when in that menu press 1 for Joe, 2 for mike 3 for etc... you program Joe to be path 11, mike 12...
