I am getting delayed messages in my NVM 4.1 systems that users are complaining about. I was recommended to reboot the VM. Can anyone explain the procedures to reboot the NVM?
THank you!
Thanks in advance!

Use feature 915 to access the server. Then use your softkeys to navigate to the shutdown heading. You will have the option to reboot gracefully or immediate. If you know everyone is out of mail you can use immediate. The system will take about 5 minutes to reload.

Yes, I will need the password for the Feature. I inherited the system without any manuals or guides.
Thanks!
Thanks in advance!

I'm typically pretty careful about providing passwords in public forums. But, it is documented in the NAM Maint. Manual, so I think that makes it ok (if not, I trust a moderator will remove this message). The password is 'ACCESS2'. Also note that Feature 915 can actually be anything in a range, from 915 through 931. It will likely be 915, but if that doesn't work try 916. Passwords are best not given out at all on a public forum. Hope some 15 year old kid looking at this forum dosn't gets the idea to screw around with the system that his mother uses when he visits the office next time. I hope it's not one of mine that I maintain since you just gave him the idea and the tools (our tools).

I agree with the password ethic too and most cased I would haven't requested it, but since it was rebooting a NAM, I didn't see much harm in that (Only my Opion). BCMguy, I am sorry for the grief you caught on this, but I appreciate the help, it saved me money and I have a happy customer.
Thanks in advance!
