It's been several years since I worked on a Norstar Meridian. I have a DR5 software 824 Meridian with 1 expansion. There are three lines; 12 sets (mix 7310 & 7208). The customer wants to access the third line first, then the second, then the first outgoing (and the opposite incoming, of course). How do I set this up? Do I need all three to be in a pool together or is there another way? If in a pool, how do I order it?

Assign all of the lines to a Pool Group and then set the Prime Line of each set to that Pool.

That should work, as long as pools on Norstar access lines high to low. I think they are accessed that way, but it's been awhile since I've worked on Norstar. I may be thinking of the order in which park codes are assigned.

The Norstar will select outbound trunks in a pool, from the highest numbered line to the lowest. ------------------ BCM Guy www.BCMguy.com Learn more about the Nortel Networks Business Communications Manager HERE !

Thanks! I'll try the "all-in-the-pool" on Monday and test.
